Organically Raised Chicken
We only take pre-orders for chicken and are taking orders now for 2022 until the end of February 2022** (see pre-order form below)
Our chickens are raised on pasture, meaning they are housed on grass where they can carry out natural foraging behaviour, plus reap the benefits of fresh air and sunlight. Our chickens are housed in “chicken tractors”; a mobile coop with an open bottom. During the day they are free to roam in and out of the chicken tractors into a large area surrounded by a portable fence. The fence and chicken tractors are moved regularly to keep them on fresh, clean grass. Along with their natural foraging and vegetable scraps from our organically grown garden, they are fed a certified organic feed. They come available whole, halved and quartered and are priced at $7.50/lb. If you are interested in discussing further or placing a pre-order for chicken please call or email for more information.
